Dryrot est un super-vilain créé par Marvel Comics. Il est apparu pour la première fois dans Spider-Man: the final adventure #2, en 1995.
Origine
Paul Contoni servait de cobaye à la scientifique Monica Staphos, qui créa un dérivé de peau synthétique nommé SSD.
Spider-Man le combattit en même temps que Tendril, mais Contoni n'était pas un criminel résolu, et il s'allia au Tisseur, qui lui rendit forme humaine.
Pouvoirs
- Le corps de Dryrot était composé de flocons secs le rendant insensible aux chocs physiques. Il pouvait ré-arranger la forme de son corps et grossir jusqu'à atteindre une taille de près de 2,80m.
- Sa force dépassait de loin celle d'un humain normal.
