Dragpa Gyaltsèn
Dragpa Gyaltsèn ou Jetsun Dragpa Gyaltsèn (1147-1216), (Wylie: grags pa rgyal mtshan), 3e fils de Sachen Kunga Nyingpo, fut le 5e Sakya Trizin (1182-1216), chef de l'école Sakyapa du bouddhisme tibétain, et le maître de son neveu et successeur Sakya Pandita. C’est l’un des Cinq Grands Maîtres de Sakya. Il aurait commencé à enseigner à 11 ans ; on lui attribue le commentaire de l’enseignement de son père résumé dans le chant des quatre attachements :
- Si on est attaché à cette vie, on n’est pas un pratiquant du Dharma.
- Si on est attaché au samsara, on n’a pas atteint la renonciation
- Si on est attaché à son propre objectif, on n’a pas atteint la bodhicitta
- Si un attachement naît, on n’obtient pas la vision
Sa mère était Jomo Machig Od-dron. Bien qu’il ait prononcé des vœux de célibat, il resta laïc.
