Dhaher, cheikh de Palestine, né en 1689.
Il se rêvait indépendant et soutint avec succès pendant 30 ans des guerres continuelles ; il battit les armées du sultan de Constantinople, et sut se faire respecter de ce prince. Ses États ayant été envahis par Mohammed Aboudhaliab, begierbeg d'Égypte, il se jeta dans la place de Saint-Jean-d'Acre et s'y défendit quelque temps, mais fut tué dans une sortie, en1775.

Plusieurs califes d'Égypte ont aussi porté, le nom de Dhaher et de Dhaher-Billah.
