Dans le jargon informatique, l’anglicisme « crash » (utilisé comme substantif : un crash, ou comme verbe : le système s'est crashé) désigne une interruption anormale et souvent inattendue d’un logiciel, que ce soit une simple application ou le système d'exploitation lui-même. Le programme peut ne plus répondre, l'écran se figer, ou l'ordinateur redémarrer subitement.

Le terme francisé le plus proche est celui de « plantage », recommandé par l’office québecois de la langue française et usuellement utilisé dans d'autres pays francophones comme la France. On utilise aussi les termes plus généraux d’« incident » et « panne ».
