La convention d’Akkerman fut signée le 7 octobre 1826 entre la Russie et l’Empire ottoman à Akkerman (aujourd’hui Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi).
Elle imposait que les hospodars de Moldavie et Valachie soient élus pour 7 ans par leurs assemblées régionales puis soient approuvés par les deux puissances signataires.
Elle imposait aussi le retrait des forces ottomanes des provinces danubiennes qui s’y étaient installées depuis 1821.
La Valachie obtenait aussi le contrôle des ports de Giurgiu, Brăila et Turnu.
L’autonomie était octroyée à la principauté de Serbie ainsi que la restitution des territoires confisqués en 1813.
La répudiation de la convention par le Sultan Mahmud II déclencha la Guerre russo-turque de 1828-1829.
