Précision sur les termes : Communalisation / Sociation
Termes introduits par Weber dans "Economie et Société"(1920) [§9, E&S, p. 41-13]. Cette distinction est dérivée de celle que Tönnies avait établie entre communauté et société. A la différence de celui-ci,le couple de notions retenues par Weber (Communalisation/sociation)ne désigne pas deux types de sociétés qui se succèdent historiquement (sociétés traditionnelles/sociétés modernes). La communalisation est une relation sociale basée sur un sentiment d'appartenance, telle que la famille ou la nation. La sociation repose sur un accord délibéré (rationnel) sur des intérêts partagés, souvent fixés par un compromis : l'échange et les associations à but déterminé en sont des exemples.
