Claude III Audran est un peintre français né à Lyon en 1657 et mort à Paris en 1734. Créateur de tapisseries et de panneaux décoratifs d'un style léger, il fut peintre du roi et concierge (conservateur) du Palais du Luxembourg. Il eut Watteau comme élève.
