Charles William Peach (1800-1886) fut un naturaliste britannique et un géologue, il est né le 30 septembre 1800 à Wansford dans le Northamptonshire. Il reçut une éducation élémentaire à Wansford et à Folkingham dans le Lincolnshire et assista durant plusieurs années ses parents dans la ferme familiale. Peach se retira du gouvernement en 1861, et mourut à Edinburgh le 28 février 1886.
