The Catholic University of America (« CUA »), ou l'Université Catholique d'Amérique en français, est une université américaine, située à Washington D.C.. Elle est restée un cas unique d'université catholique aux É.U. jusqu'en 2003 avec la fondation de l'université Ave Maria en Floride. Fondée en 1887 sur approbation du pape Léon XIII, elle est un centre d'enseignement et de recherche.

Les programmes soulignent les arts libéraux, l'éducation professionnelle, et le développement personnel. Le Dîner des Cardinaux Américains est mis par les Cardinaux résidentiels aux États-Unis pour collecter les fonds pour la bourse d'études à CUA. Elle est bien connue pour son travail avec les Chevaliers de Colomb.
