Carleon

Carleon est un lieu cité dans le cycle arthurien. Donné dans Historia regum Britanniae comme le siège principal de la cour d'Arthur et généralement identifié avec Caerleon au Pays de Galles[1], il est progressivement supplanté au cours des XIIe-XIIIe siècles par Camelot apparu dans Lancelot ou le Chevalier à la charette de Chrétien de Troyes et devient la deuxième ville du royaume, où le roi réunit souvent sa cour.
