Black Manta est un super-vilain de DC Comics créé par Bob Haney & Nick Cardy dans Aquaman #35 en septembre 1967. C'est le pire ennemi d' Aquaman.

Biographie

Ce qu'on sait de l'homme qui prit l'identique de Black Manta, qu'il a grandi à Baltimore (Maryland) et que son prénom (présumé) est David. Jeune il fût kidnappé et forcé à travailler sur un bateau, c'est là qu'il rencontre Aquaman.
