Adaptations à la télévision
Certaines de ces nouvelles ont fait l'objet d'adaptations télévisées pour la série Alfred Hitchcock présente. Plus tard, ces nouvelles, ainsi que d'autres nouvelles de Roald Dahl, donneront naissance à la série télévisée Bizarre bizarre, présentée par Roald Dahl lui-même, comme le faisait Alfred Hitchcock.
