Le groupe de rock indépendant et lo-fi américain Pavement sort son troisième album studio, Wowee Zowee, le 11 avril 1995. Il est enregistré à Memphis,Tn[1], et contient 18 pistes s'inspirant légèrement de country, de ballades, ou encore de jazz[2].

Le disque est réédité durant l'année 2006 sous forme du double album, Wowee Zowee, Sordid Sentinels Edition[3], l'original s'accompagnant de bonus.
