Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Football Club, ou Bees Rugby, actuellement nommé Pertemps Bees, du nom de son sponsor, est un club de rugby anglais fondé en 1989 et basé à Solihull qui joue actuellement en National Division One, c’est-à-dire la seconde division anglaise.

Historique

Le Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Football Club résulte de la fusion en 1989 de deux clubs préexistants :

  • Birmingham RFC, fondé en 1911 (maillot rouge, short blanc) ; et
  • Solihull RFC (maillot noir et jaune). Un autre club amateur, Solihull RUFC, a été fondé par la suite, qui porte les couleurs noir et jaune et sert de réserve à l’entité professionnelle.

Le nouveau club a associé les couleurs de ses prédécesseurs.

Le plus grand exploit du club date de 2004, avec la victoire en quarts de finale de la Coupe d'Angleterre contre les London Wasps 28-24, alors que les Bees évoluaient en deuxième division et étaient cotés à 250 contre 1 chez les bookmakers.

Relégué en troisième division, le club remonte en D2 en 2009.
