WIN Group est un conglomérat caribéen concentré dans l'infrastucture immobilière, basé à Port-au-Prince, Haïti.


Historique

Le groupe fut fondé dans les années 1940 par Fritz Mevs, un pionier de l'industrie haïtienne, connu pour son rôle dans la manufacture de chaussures, de balles de baseball et en tant que propriétaire de l'usine sucrière Haitian American Sugar Company (HASCO). A la suite de l'embargo économique à l'encontre d'Haïti en 1992, embargo né de la situation politique, WIN Group s'oriente vers l'infrastructure[1].

Activités

Le groupe possède le plus grand parc industriel privé d'Haïti, avec une surface d'à peu près 2 millions de pieds carrés[2]. Son terminal pétrolier, avec une capacité de 43 millions de gallons de stockage dessert toutes les compagnies pétrolières fonctionnant en Haïti[3] . L'une de ses 2 facilités portuaires demeure le plus grand port maritime privé d'Haïti.
