The Buddhist Sons est un groupe musical franco-italien créé par l'auteur compositeur interprète Christian Parent.

Biographie

Formé en 2004 dans les Abruzzes, le groupe est initialement virtuel, basé sur quelques enregistrements home-studio destinés à recruter des musiciens, ce qui se fera non sans mal.

Les échos positifs se multiplient : diffusions sur la RAI - Radio Uno, apparition sur la compilation « Fuori Tutti », présence pendant un an dans la playlist de « Lagrosseradio.com », contrat de licence pour la vente online (Virginmega, Fnac music, etc.)

Fin 2007, l'album « Blow Jobs » sort enfin, entièrement réalisé en conditions de home-studio minimaliste, à l'exception du morceau Society Bites dont le final est enregistré en collaboration avec une chorale renommée de L’Aquila (Concentus Serafino Aquilano).

C'est à cette époque que le groupe trouve sa concrétisation à Lille, en France et se produit en concert, au gré de l'intégration et du départ des musiciens.

Suite à la disparition du batteur en 2009, le groupe redevient (temporairement ?) un "one-man-band".
