Takashi Sugiura (杉浦 貴, Sugiura Takashi?) est un catcheur japonais, il catche à la Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Carrière

Début

Sugiura fait du judo durant ses années d'études. Il représente le Japon au Jeux olympiques d'été de 1996 à Atlanta. Il rejoint le All Japan Pro Wrestling Dojo de Tamon Honda.

Pro Wrestling Noah

Sugiura, alorst un lutteur amateur, rejoint le NOAH dojo en 2000. Il fait ses débuts le 23 décembre 2000 et il devient le premier catcheur à faire ses débuts à la Pro Wrestling NOAH. Il rejoint le clan Dark Agents.

Il fait équipe avec Yoshinobu Kanemaru sous le nom « SugiKane ». Après plusieurs mois, ils battent Marufuji & KENTA pour le titre du Championnat poids-lourd junior par équipe de la GHC. Il rejoint ensuite la division poids-lourd et s'attaque à la ceinture du Champion poids-lourd GHC Takeshi Morishima. Il remporte les ceintures par équipes de la GHC avec Naomichi Marufuji face à D'Lo Brown & Bull Buchanan.

À NJPW Wrestle Kingdom III, il s'attaque au New Japan Ace Shinsuke Nakamura face à Mitsuharu Misawa & Hirooki Goto. Le 20 juillet, il fait face à Hiroshi Tanahashi dans le premier match « NJPW vs. NOAH » pour le titre Champion poids-lourd IWGP. Après 24 minutes et 2 High Fly Lows, Tanahashi garde sa ceinture.

Sugiura participe au 2009 G-1 Climax. Lors de Wrestle Kingdom V, lui et Yoshihiro Takayame battent Hirooki Goto et Kazuchika Okada.

Mixed Martial Arts

Sugiura combat sans la mixed martial arts. Sa plus grande victoire est en MMA match est face à Giant Silva. Il a participé au tournoi Pancrase Heavyweight Championship mais a été éliminé par Ryuta Noji.
