Tackhead est un groupe de musique industrielle,de hip hop et de funk formé au début des années 1980 sous le nom Fats Comets qui devient Tackhead par la suite. Le groupe est composé à l'origine du bassiste Doug Wimbish, du guitariste Skip Mc Donald, du batteur Keith Leblanc et du DJ Adrian Sherwood. Les chanteurs : Gary Clail arrive en 1987 et est remplacé en 1989 par Bernard Fowler.
