Stephen G. Gilligan, né le 26 décembre 1954, à San Francisco, Californie est un psychologue, psychothérapeute, auteur et formateur américain. Gilligan a été l'élève du psychiatre Milton Erickson. Son approche de la psychothérapie est influencée par l'hypnose et par sa pratique de l'Aïkido.
