Space Tactics (スペースタクティクス, ?) est un jeu de tir subjectif sorti en 1980 sur borne d'arcade.
Système de jeu
Space Tactics reprend un gameplay similaire à celui de Space Invaders, un shoot them up sorti en 1978, en y apportant plusieurs changements[1].
Le jeu se joue en vue à la première personne, avec un viseur qui tire des lasers affichant des effets 3D. Au lieu de se déplacer sur l'écran comme sur tous les jeux de tir subjectif sortis précédemment, le viseur reste fixe au milieu de l'écran pour permettre à tout l'écran de bouger[1].
Le but du jeu consiste à défendre sa base spatiale des assauts aliens. Les aliens peuvent être de quatre types, présentant des caractéristiques différentes[2].
