Richard Beckinsale est un acteur britannique né le 6 juillet 1947 à Carlton (Nottinghamshire) et décédé d'une crise cardiaque le 19 mars 1979 à Sunningdale (Berkshire).
Biographie
Il s'est fait connaître avec le rôle de Lennie Godber dans la série Porridge et dans le film adapté de la série et Alan Moore dans la série Rising Damp.
Il s'est marié deux fois : la première avec Margaret Bradley de 1965 à 1971, de cette union est née Samantha (1966). Après son divorce, il se met en couple avec l'actrice Judy Loe. De cette union naît Kate Beckinsale (juillet 1973). Loe et Beckinsale se sont mariés de 1977 à 1979.
