Puppet on a String ("Un pantin au bout d'un fil") est la chanson gagnante du concours Eurovision de la chanson 1967, interprétée par la chanteuse anglaise Sandie Shaw. Ce fut la première victoire du Royaume-Uni à l'Eurovision.

La chanson était intégralement interprétée en anglais, langue nationale du pays représenté, comme l'imposait encore la règle entre 1966 et 1973. Sandie Shaw en a enregistré une version francophone.

Puppet on a String doit son charme immédiat à son interprète délicieuse et à son orchestration : une introduction de basson ("pompe" binaire tonique-dominante) sur laquelle se déploie la voix piquante de Sandie Shaw au service d'une mélodie aussi simple à retenir que plaisante à fredonner.
