Party In The USA a connu un grand succès dès sa sortie, classé numéro 1 des ventes de singles dans le monde les quatre premières semaines de sa sortie, et un total de six semaines au top des charts. Party In The USA devient donc le 1er single de Miley à atteindre la 1re place des charts (7 things et The Climb ayant atteint la 2e place dans les charts) et elle devient par la même occasion la plus jeune artiste de l'histoire de la musique à avoir un single numéro un à 16 ans et 9 mois. Party In The USA resta les 16 premières semaines de sa sortie dans le Top 10 et comptabilise un total de 18 semaines dans le Top 10. En 22 semaines d'exploitation, Party In The USA n'est pas sorti du Top 20 et comme pire performance une 17e place atteinte en 21e et en 22e semaine. Party In The USA est le 2e single le plus vendu de l'histoire d'Hollywood Records (derrière Leavin' de Jesse MCcartney) et également le 6e single le plus vendu de 2009 avec 3 200 000 exemplaires.
