Osmo Pekonen, Ph.D., D.Soc.Sc., né en 1960, est un mathématicien, historien et écrivain finlandais. Personnalité polyvalente, il s'implique beaucoup aux échanges culturels et scientifiques franco-finlandais. Il est doublement docteur et membre de nombreuses sociétés savantes en Finlande et en France.
