John C. Carney, Jr., né le 20 mai 1956 à Wilmington, est un homme politique américain, membre du parti démocrate et actuel représentant de l'unique district du Delaware à la Chambre des représentants des États-Unis.
De 2001 à 2009, Carney est gouverneur-adjoint du Delaware.
Candidat au poste de gouverneur du Delaware en 2008, il est battu d'extrême justesse lors de l'investiture démocrate par Jack Markell.
Le 2 novembre 2010, Carney est élu à la Chambre des représentants avec 57% des voix face au républicain Glen Urquhart (41%). Il succède ainsi au républicain Mike Castle qui ne se représentait pas.
