Godtfred Kirk Christiansen (8 juillet 1920 - 13 mai 1995) était le fils d'Ole Kirk Christiansen, le fondateur du groupe LEGO. En 1949, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen a acheté le brevet à la brique Lego et la famille a commencé à produire des briques en plastique comme un supplément sur les jouets en bois. En 1950, il devient Junior Vice President de la société et, en 1956, il a été nommé Directeur Général. Quand son père est mort en 1958, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen est devenu le gérant de l'entreprise et a acheté ses trois frères en 1960 pour devenir le propriétaire unique du groupe LEGO. Son fils, Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, a succédé comme président et CEO du groupe LEGO en 1979.
