Fritz Witells est un psychanalyste autrichien né à Vienne le 14 novembre 1880 et mort à New York le 16 octobre 1950.
Wittels fait partie des premiers disciples de Freud. Ami de Wilhelm Stekel, Fritz Wittels rejoint en effet la Société du mercredi (réunion de psychanalystes) dès 1907. Après sa brouille avec Freud, il la quitte en 1910.
