FIMI est une abréviation tirée de l'italien Federazione Industria Musica Italiana qui veut dire « Fédération Industrie Musique Italienne ». Il est actif depuis 1992 et, depuis 1996, en collaboration avec l'Nielsen, suivi de la vente / distribution du dossier de publications hebdomadaires. Ceci est la source officielle des données sur les ventes de disques italienne et les distributions des albums, compilations, DVD de musique et des téléchargements numériques. Le classement des singles les plus vendus en Italie, mais a été supprimé Janvier 7, 2008, devenant ainsi le classement des chansons téléchargées à partir du réseau interne.
