F.C. New York est un club franchisé de football américain basée à Hempstead, New York et crée en 2009. Le club fait ses débuts en 2011 en USL Pro (troisième division).
Avec les Red Bull New York, le FC New York sera le deuxième club professionnel de la Grosse Pomme.
Création
Initialement prévu pour intégrer la D2 Pro League (deuxième division) en 2010[1], le club annonce finalement qu'il ne sera pas prêt et repousse ses débuts à 2011, mais cette fois ci c'est en USL Pro (troisième division) qui débute.
Affiliations
Dans son projet de bâtir un club reconnu sur un plan national mais aussi international, le FC New York s'est affilié à des clubs dans une optique gagnant/gagnant. Ces partenariats permettent des échanges d'informations, de joueurs, de staff technique. Ainsi, fin décembre 2010, trois club son déjà affiliés au FC New York. Il s'agit des West Virginia Chaos[2], du Rio Grande Valley Ocelots FC[3] et des Springfield Demize[4].
