Christopher James Davis

Christopher James Davis est né dans l'île de la Barbade en 1842, dans une famille de 10 enfants d'un père anglais et d'une mère de la Barbade. Professeur, puis médecin, il se porte volontaire pour soigner les blessés pendant la Bataille de Sedan. Connu comme le bon "docteur noir", il meurt en 1870 des suites d'une maladie. Il est enterré au fond de Givonne à Sedan.
