Cat Records est une filiale de la compagnie de disques américaine Atlantic Records, créée par Ahmet Ertegün et Herb Abramson et active de 1954 à 1956.
Histoire
Cat Records est créé à New York en 1954 . Beaucoup moins actif qu'une autre filiale d'Atlantic, Atco Records, le label produit des disques de rhythm and blues et de groupes vocaux de doo-wop. Les titres sortent tous en 45 tours et en 78 tours.
C'est pour Cat Records que Floyd Dixon enregistre un de ses plus célèbres titres Hey Bartender.
