M-Project (alias Jabbawok et Negative X) est un duo de producteurs/DJ's basé sur le Gabber mais plus généralement sur la Makina. Installés à Tokyo, au Japon, ce duo est l'un de ceux qui ont fait connaitre le J-core à travers le monde avec plus d'une trentaine d'albums. Le duo est d'ailleurs paru dans un magazine japonais comme étant une référence Hardcore au Japon. Beaucoup de compositions de M-Project sont apparues dans les albums de nombreux labels incluant Rave N Beats Japan, Gabba Disco et SharpnelSound.
Ce groupe est l'origine de la création de nombreux labels J-core et Makina tels que Holocron Music, MPT ou encore Burning Chrome Records.
Labels
- Holocron Music est un label indépendant créé par M-Project dans le but d'exposer leur mixs Makina.
- MPT (Makina ProjecT) est un label Japonais regroupant principalement le genre Happy Hardcore et d'autres dérivés. Ce label a permis le succès des albums Bastards Pop Terrorists (ou bon nombre d'amateurs y exposent leurs compositions contre rémunération).
- Burning Chrome Records est un label uniquement basé sur la Makina et les albums Underground Makina Connectionz.
