Bad Reputation est le premier et unique album publié par Dirty White Boy le 6 novembre 1990 sur le label Polygram. L'album a été produit par Beau Hill et mixé aux Bearsville Studios de New York par Steve Thompson et Michael Barbiero. Malgré une campagne de promotion présentant Dirty White Boy comme un super-groupe, l'album a été un échec commercial complet et n'a pas été classé dans le Billboard 200. Les deux singles extraits de cet album ont eux aussi été des échecs cinglants non classés dans le Billboard Hot 100.
