Asking Alexandria est un groupe de metalcore britannique de North Yorkshire, formé en 2008 à York.

Le line-up actuel est composé du guitariste Ben Bruce, du chanteur Danny Worsnop, du guitariste Cameron Liddell, du bassiste Sam Bettley et du batteur James Cassells.

Biographie

Asking Alexandria s'est formé en 2003 à Dubaï par James (chant), Ben (guitare), Hitesh (batterie), Mark (Bass) et Robin (batterie)[1].

En 2007, le groupe sort son premier album, The Irony of Your Perfection sur le label Hangmans Joke Recordings[2],[3].

Le groupe se reforme en 2008 lorsque le guitariste Ben Bruce déménagé en Angleterre, après avoir été contacté par des vieux amis[1].

Le groupe a été sélectionné au Golden Gods 2011 pour le titre "meilleur nouveau groupe de musique"[4] et a participé au Vans Warped Tour 2011[5].
