L’épicanthus est un repli vertical de la peau qui s’étend de la paupière supérieure au bord du nez. Il est à l’origine des yeux bridés, une caractéristique physique présente notamment chez les personnes d’origine asiatique ou souffrant de maladie comme le syndrome de Down (trisomie 21).
