Le Ban Dainagon Ekotoba (伴大納言絵詞, fin du XIIe siècle, collection Sakai Tadahiro), ensemble de trois rouleaux qui racontent une intrigue à la cour en mars 866, dépeint des personnages en mouvement avec de rapides coups de pinceau et des couleurs vives. Cet emakimono est attribué à Tokiwa Mitsunaga.
