  • The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE), représente les scénaristes TV & Film autour de New York City.
  • The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW), représente les scénaristes TV & Film autour de Hollywood et du sud de la Californie.

Ce syndicat très puissant a connu de grandes grèves à Hollywood en 1960, en 1988 et de novembre 2007 jusqu'au 24 janvier 2008.
