Winterguard

La Winter Guard est une équipe de super-héros appartenant à l'univers de Marvel Comics. Plusieurs de ses membres ont précédemment fait partie des équipes Soviet Super-Soldiers et Supreme Soviets.

Origine

La Winter Guard est la fusion de deux équipes russes : l'équipe mutante Siberforce (Vanguard, Darkstar, Ursa Major et Sibercat) et le Protectorat du Peuple (Fantasma, Gardien Rouge IV, Perun, et Vostok). Elle est dirigée par Steel Guardian (auparavant appelé Gardien Rouge) et est parfois assistée de la nouvelle Dynamo Pourpre (Gennady Gavrilov).

L'équipe a affronté Ultimatum, la Présence et le Mandarin. Darkstar est décédée récemment, lors d'un combat en France. Une nouvelle recrue, aperçue dans la nouvelle série Hulk (2008) a repris son pseudonyme.

La Winter Guard est réputée être à « un niveau similaire aux Vengeurs », une appellation qu'elle partage avec les Canadiens de la Division Alpha et les Japonais de Big Hero 6.

Pendant l'Invasion Secrète

On revit certains membres de l'équipe repousser les Skrulls de leur pays, grâce à l'aide de War Machine.

  • Fantasma : une sorcière, capable de projeter des illusions
  • Powersurge (Illarion Ramskov) : un géant à la puissance nucléaire
  • Sibercat (Illya lavrov) : un homme-chat féroce
  • Steel Guardian (Josef Petkus) : l'homologue soviétique de Captain America
  • Ursa Major (Mikhail Ursus) : un mutant capable de se changer en ours
  • Vanguard (Nikolai Krylenko) : un mutant capable d'attaquer ses adversaires avec des rayons d'energie
  • Vostok : un robot contrôlant les machines
  • Darkstar : une nouvelle recrue remplaçant la défunte Darkstar, sœur de Vanguard.
