Wig A Wag est un groupe originaire de Tours et chantant en breton.
Les deux fondateurs du groupe, Loïc Chavigny et Cyrille Bonneau, se sont entourés en 2004 de nouveaux musiciens. Ils sont désormais 8 sur scène.
Leur nouvel album est sorti en mars 2009, chez Faunebox[1].
Le nom "Wig A Wag" fait référence à la tradition bretonne d'origine celtique de l'Ankou, sorte de personnification de la Mort montée sur une charrette qui récolte les âmes au son de "wig ha wag!". Celui qui entend cette clameur doit s'attendre à un trépas imminent.
