Vandino (parfois appelé Vadino ou Guido) et Ugolino Vivaldi (aussi appelé Ugolino de Vivaldo) (vers 1291) étaient deux frères, explorateurs, navigateurs et marchands italiens de Gênes.
Biographie
Au printemps de 1291, Vandino et Ugolino Vivaldi ont navigué de Gênes avec l'intention d'atteindre l'Inde par la mer, dans dix ans. L'expédition a été financée par Teodisio D'Oria (famille Doria) et pilotée par des marins de Majorque. Dans deux galères, ils ont navigué le long de la côte de l'actuel Maroc après avoir traversé le détroit de Gibraltar. Ils ont probablement longé la côte africaine, dans la mesure du cap Noun. Leur sort est inconnu. La question de savoir s'ils ont essayé de naviguer à travers l'ouest de l'Atlantique ou fait le tour du continent africain est également inconnue.
