Synopsis

Un groupe armé, mené par un surdoué, anciennement ingénieur à la NASA, prend en otage les passager du train Grand Continental, afin de se l'accaparer comme base de commandement de leurs opérations. Ils mettront à la disposition des plus offrants les services de leurs satellite de destruction massive, capable de détruire une ville entière, comme Washington, qui deviendra leur cible. C'était sans compter sur la présence fortuite de Casey Ryback, ex de la CIA, qui va tenter de déjouer leur plan diabolique...
