Udanavarga

L'Udānavarga est un texte Bouddhique écrit en sanskrit, très proche du Dhammapada, dont il reprend de nombreux vers. Le canon bouddhiste tibétain en contient deux recensions, dont on attribue traditionnellement la compilation à Dharmatrata.

L'Udānavarga contient environ 950 vers répartis en 33 chapitres. Par comparaison, la version la plus commune du Dhammapada (celle écrite en pali) n'en contient que 433.
