D'après Akilattirattu Ammanai, un texte sacré de la religion Ayyavazhi, Ayya Vaikundar (Tamil : அய்யா வைகுண்டர்) est un avatar Manu (père, géniteur) de Narayana.
Le corps humain dans lequel Ayya Vaikundar s'est incarné porte le nom de Mudisoodum Perumal. Il est cependant désigné comme Sampooranathevan, un deva (dieu) dans le livre religieux Akilam. Ayya Vaikundar est la combinaison de l'esprit de Narayana, de l'âme du Dieu Suprême Ekam et du corps d'un être humain normal.
