Djötchi ou Joci (mongol Züĉi, de zoĉin : l'hôte), fils aîné de Gengis Khan et de son épouse principale Börte, né en 1183. Un doute plana toujours sur sa légitimité. En effet, peu avant sa naissance sa mère avait été capturée par les Merkit et donnée à un de leur guerriers. Il participa aux campagnes de son père avant de se retirer, après sa participation à la prise d'Ourgendj, en avril 1221, dans l'apanage constitué des steppes de l'Oural et du Tourgaï que lui avait remis son père. Il mourut peu avant ce dernier en 1227. Ses descendants conquirent les steppes russes, fondant le khanat de la Horde d'Or.
Parmi ses fils, on trouve Batu-Khan, Orda, Berké et Chayban. Les trois derniers sont l'origine des trois branches des descendants de Djötchi; respectivement : Les khans de la Horde Blanche, les khans de la Horde d'or et les Chaybanides.
