Thompson Twins (référence au nom anglais des Dupond et Dupont de Hergé) est un groupe new wave britannique composé de Tom Bailey, Alannah Currie et Joe Leeway. Le groupe se fit connaître pendant les années 1980, notamment avec leurs titres phares Hold Me Now (1983) et 'Doctor! Doctor! (1984).
L'album Into the gap, paru en 1984 et produit par Alex Sadkin (Duran Duran) connaît un succès transatlantique.
Le groupe se sépare en 1992.
