The Worst Journey in the World (« Le pire voyage au monde ») est un mémoire de l'expédition Terra Nova (1910-1913) dirigée par Robert Falcon Scott. Il a été écrit et publié en 1922 par un survivant de l'expédition, Apsley Cherry-Garrard, et a reçu beaucoup de louange pour son franc parler des difficultés de l'expédition, les causes de ce résultat désastreux et le sens (s'il y a lieu) de la souffrance humaine dans des conditions extrêmes.
En 2001, le magazine National Geographic Adventure nomma The Worst Journey in the World comme le meilleur livre d'aventure de tous les temps[1].
Un docufiction, avec le même titre que le livre dont il est inspiré, écrit et avec Mark Gatiss a été diffusé sur la BBC Four en avril 2007.
