The Fury est un personnage de jeu vidéo dans la série Metal Gear. Il fait son apparition dans Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Il est un membre de l'unité Cobra. Comme pour tous les membres de l'unité, son nom signifie l'émotion qu'il aime faire ressentir à l'ennemi.
Biographie
Avant Metal Gear Solid 3
C'est un ancien cosmonaute Soviétique. Il retourna en Russie après le démantèlement de l'unité Cobra et fut envoyé dans l'espace et au moment de pénétrer dans l'atmosphère terrestre, il reçut d'énormes brûlures sur tout le corps. Alors qu'il brûlait, il vit la Terre entourée de feu.
La mort de The Fury
Mortellement blessé par Naked Snake lors de la mission Snake Eater, il se lança alors dans les airs à pleine vitesse croyant retourner chez lui mais s'écrasa contre le plafond.
A sa mort deux visages enflammés poursuivirent Naked Snake, puis il explosa en criant « The Fury ».
Équipement
Il porte un Jetpack, une combinaison de cosmonaute qu'il utilise comme tenue anti-feu, et un lance-flammes.
Notes
- - l'expression inscrite sur son casque signifie « frapper » en russe.
- - le personnage semble clairement inspiré de Fireball, un des "traqueurs" du film Running Man.
