Terence Conran

Sir Terence Conran est né à Londres en 1931 et a fait ses études à la célèbre Central School of Arts and Crafts de Londres. Il a d'abord été créateur et fabricant de meubles et devint rapidement un designer réputé. Il fonde en 1964 la société Habitat qu'il revend en 1992 pour créer sa nouvelle enseigne, Conran Shop.

La fondation Conran qui dirige le projet Boilerhouse a été fondée en 1981 pour stimuler les liens entre l'industrie et le design.

Il a édité plusieurs livres sur les règles de base de la conception, l'aménagement et la décoration de la maison ou de l'appartement.
