Le Sulfate d'héparane est une molécule polysaccharide qui compose les tissus animaux.
L'unité de base du sulfate d'héparane est l'acide glucuronique qui est relié par une liaison alpha 1-4 à un acide N sulfatyl glucosamine (glucose avec en carbone 2: NHSO3-). Chaque unité est reliée à la suivante par une liaison alpha 1-4.
