Sven Kennethson, aussi dénommé, en gaélique, Suibne mac Cináeda (« Suibne fils de Cináed ») (mort en 1034) était un roi celto-norrois (scandinave et gaël). Les Annales d'Ulster et les Annales de Tigernach évoquent sa mort en 1034.
Bien qu'associé généralement au Galloway, dont le nom dérive précisément de Gall-Gaidheal (Gall-Gáedil), il est l'ancêtre éponyme du clan Sweeney, qui se trouvait à Knapdale, dans la région du Loch Sween où fut construit au XIIe siècle le château de Sween.
Si Suibne régna sur le Galloway, on ne sait rien à ce jour de son règne. Les annales ne nous renseignent correctement qu'à partir de Fergus de Galloway (règne de 1120 env. à 1161). Certaines interprétations toponymiques suggéreraient que son royaume s'étendait sur tout le Galloway actuel, ainsi que le Carrick et le Nithsdale, et peut-être jusqu'au Douglasdale, sans oublier plusieurs îles, comme l'île de Man.
